Decided to upgrade my main workstation’s Nvidia Quadro FX370 card ($129) to the XFX GTS 250 ($129 – previously $300++). Had to move almost everything around in my existing MSI Neo-6 motherboard. Nvidia Quadro FX 370

Have this video card on my main CAD workstation (Q8200 2.33Ghz Quad-core 8Gb RAM Vista 64bit). Updated the video driver to a nvidia 182.08 windows Vista 64 release after some windows vista problems with the 182.20 release. Seems to be working great. Ran POV-RAY 3.6.1 Benchmark version 1.02 Results Render averaged 103.58 PPS over 147456 [...]

Wanted to take advantage of the CUDA from NVIDIA (a leading GPU manufacturer) – a system that uses GPUs for scientific computing. Current workstation: Quad-core (Intel 8200), PNY Quadro FX370 video card, 8Gb, DDR2, Vista Ultimate 64, 1Tb SATA 3Gbps. Polyray results: 103.3 PPS over 147456 pixels. 3dmark06:  1607 3dmarks, sms 2  =603,sms 3 = 521,cpu=3389
